Byk Gulden opens a new facility to produce active substances in Singen. Singen is now also home to the company’s logistics center. |

Pantoprazole is launched. It is used in about 100 countries to treat acid-related stomach and duodenal disorders and inflammation of the esophagus. |

The company’s name is changed to ALTANA Pharma AG. As part of a move towards greater internationalisation, Byk Gulden Lomberg takes on the name of the parent company and corporate holding company, ALTANA AG. |
